Pairing Cannabis With Wine and Cheese

If you’re a fan of wine, then you know that picking the right pairing for your wine of choice for the night, is the second most important ingredient for a good night. The first, of course, is the type of wine. Cannabis is a great option if you are looking to spice up your routine, of course still  having snacks around is never a bad idea. As always when it comes to consuming cannabis  products, it is really important to monitor your consumption, especially when paired with  alcohol. Taking less, in the same way you would edibles, is especially a good idea if you are new  to cannabis products as alcohol will increase the time THC is in your system.

The first thing you have to consider with this pairing, is the kind of wine you are feeling for  the night. White wines with sometimes either dry or sweet characteristics, and a fruity crispiness,  are perfect for lighter citrusy sativas/sativa dominant hybrids; such as Pineapple Lemonade.  Cannabis with limonene terpenes are a great choice since they are on the citrus side.

However, for bold red wines, with a variety of dark fruit flavors (blackberry, plum) and  flavors like cinnamon and cloves; indicas/indica dominant hybrids are perfect.
